I graduated with a BA Hons in Physics with Astrophysics from Trinity College Dublin. My thesis project was in the photometric classification of extra-galactic transient objects using machine learning, under Prof Kate Maguire.
I joined the Materials 4.0 CDT with an aim to apply my understanding of computational applications in physics to real engineering solutions. My PhD research focuses on understanding the role of hydrogen in jet engine failure.
