Huan X. Nguyen achieved his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2007. He presently holds the position of Professor of Digital Communication Engineering within the Faculty of Science and Technology at Middlesex University London (UK). He also founded and currently serves as the Director of the London Digital Twin Research Centre and leads the 5G/6G & IoT Research Group. His research interests include an array of cutting-edge domains, including digital twin modelling, 5G/6G systems, Internet of Things (IoT) communication, digital transformation, and machine learning. His research focus converges on their applications in industry 4.0, healthcare resilience, disaster recovery, intelligent transportation, and smart agriculture. Nguyen has led 12 substantial projects funded by esteemed bodies such as EPSRC, British Council, and UKIERI. He published in his 180+ peer-reviewed research publications and delivered over 50 keynote speeches and talks on the global stage. Nguyen is a Senior Member of the IEEE, Senior Fellow the Higher Education Academy, and Chair of the Vietnamese Intellectual Society in the UK and Ireland.
